Day 5: Batad: jeepney to Batad and walk along the amphitheatre like rice terraces. The most famous of the Philippines and maybe of the world. Aircon bus to Manila in the evening.

We leave Manila early morning direction the Pagsanjan river. This morning you are the heroes of a remake of Apocalypse Now in its final scenes. Two boatmen paddle your canoe against the current to reach the falls. The luxuriant vegetation of the gorge is a must seen. Bring extra clothes as the refreshing shower will let you completely wet. After lunch our van driver will bring us to the Taal lake one of the top 12 most beautifull lakes of the world. The panorama from the city of Tagaytay is a must seen. We will go down to the lake and take a boat to cross it. Once arrived we will hike up to the main crater. A sulphurous lake is luying within this crater. Come back to Manila wich we will reach around 7pm.

Nous quittons Manille de bonne heure en direction de la rivière Pagsanjan où nous allons tourner un remake des scènes finales du film Apocalypse Now. Deux solides gaillards pagaieront à contre courant puis tracterons votre pirogue jusqu'aux chutes. La végétation luxuriante des flancs de ces gorges est absolument sensationnelle. Prévoyez des vêtements de recange après la douche naturelle. Après le déjeuner nous prendrons la route de Tagaytay d'où nous aurons un panorama exceptionnel sur le lac Taal et ses volcans. Le lac Taal fait partie du top 12 des plus beaux lacs du monde. Nous descendrons sur les rives du lac afin d' embarquer sur une bangka qui nous mènera jusqu'au volcan que nous gravirons. Le principal cratère renferme un lac aux eaux jaune souffre. Arrivée à Manille vers 19h.

Day 1: departure from Manila early morning. In Olongapo a private aircon car drive us around the former american base. We will see the vestiges of what was the biggest us naval base in the Philippines. The Jungle Environment Survival Training Camp where the us soldiers were taught by the Aeta tribe's men how to survive in the jungle. A fascinating meeting meeting with the wold's largest bats will follow. After lunch a bus will bing us to Angeles where we will spend the night at A7 Square Apartelle.
Day 2: Pinatubo volcano hike. A jeepney will bring you from the hotel to the mount Pinatubo. The road will becomes very rough as it gets closer to the top. A 2 hours walk to discover the crater. Lava flows, marvelous panorama over the Pampanga province and the crater in a surrealist environment. Arrival in Manila around 7pm.

Jour 1: départ de Manille au lever du jour. A Olongapo un véhicule privé climatisé nous fait faire le tour de l'ancienne base navale américaine. Nous visiterons le Jungle Environmental Training Camp dans une nature typée "jungle". C'est là que certains hommes de la tribu Atea entraînaient les militaires américains à la survie en jungle. Nous verrons aussi les plus grandes chauve-souris du monde. Après le repas de la mi-journée un bus climatisé nous enmènera à Angeles et plus précisément à l'hôtel A7 Square Apartelle où vous passerez la nuit.
Jour 2: un jeepney vous chargera à l'hôtel pour vous amener sur les flancs du mont Pinatubo. Chemin de plus en plus défoncé au travers des coulées de lave que l'on termine par 2h de marche. Vigan is the best surviving example of a Spanish colonial town in the Philippines and since 1999 a Unesco World Heritage site. This Ilocos Sur town deserves it. Out of time and extremely romantic.
Day 1: we leave Manila early morning, cross many typical towns and villages of the Pampanga and Pangasinan provinces. The second half of the trip will bring us along the western coastal road of Luzon. Arrival in Vigan late afternoon or early evening. Night at Villa Angela. This hotel is a museum and the lucky ones will sleep in the same room and bed Tom Cruise was sleeping in while shooting some scenes of Born the 4th of July in the area.
Day 2: city tour: walk in the Mestizo district and kalesa tour of the town. We will stop to visit a pottery handmade factory, padre Burgos museum, Sint Paul's Cathedral.
Day 3: visit of Rowilda's weaving factory where we will catch "abel" hand weavers in action. Abel is a locally produced cotton used in the weaving of shawls, tablecloths etc. Free time and departure to Manila in aircon bus. Nightrip.

Vigan est la ville "espagnole" la mieux conservée des Philippines et est inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco depuis 1999. Et cette ville de la province d'Ilocos Sur le mérite. Hors du temps et romantique à souhait.
Jour 1: nous quittons Manille au petit matin. En chemin, nous traverserons les provinces de Pampanga et de Pangasinan qui regorgent de petites villes et villages typiques. La dernière partie du périble nous verra longer la route côtière de l'ouest Luzon. Arrivée à Vigan fin d'après-midi ou début de soirée. Logement à la Villa Angela. Cet hôtel est un véritable musée et les plus chanceux dormiront dans la même chambre et le même lit que Tom Cruise résidant au Villa Angela lors du tournage du film "Né un 4 juillet".
Jour 2: promenade pédestre dans le quartier de Mestizo et en calèche pour découvrir les principaux spots de la ville: entreprise de poterie faite main, la cathédrale Saint Paul, le musée Burgos.

Day 1: early morning we leave Manila for the Pagsanjan River (see details above). Then a ride to Taal lake (see details above). In Batangas we take a bangka to Sabang in the Puerto Galera area ( Mindoro). Accomodation in Sea Shore (aircon cottages with terrace).
Day 2: around 9am tour around Sabang: water falls, buffalo ride, hanging bridge, typical village without electricity. Come back in Sabang around 5 pm.
Day 3: snorkelling (included) / diving (extra) in the morning. In the afternoon we reach the top of a hill and enjoy a 180° panorama on Puerto Galera bay.
Day 4: free time.
Day 5: come back to Manila in the afternoon.

Day 1: flight from Manila to Cebu. Arrival at Cebu city aiport and visit of some main spots of the city: Magellan's Cross, basilica, point of view on the bay. Night at the Dulcinea Hotel Suites or equivalent.
Day 2: early morning transfer to the marine reserve on Sumilon island. Magnificent, Sumilon is a small paradise: snorkelling, walk, bike tour, relaxation choose it your way. In the afternoon crossing to Dumaguete. Night at the Coco Grande.
Day 3: visit of the Twin Lakes National Park: magnificent virgin forest and panorama on the way. In private vehicle, we take mountain road. Day 8: Siquijor-Bohol (+/-2 hours of crossing) and transfer at the Nuts Huts hotel along the Loboc river. Going up of the river to the falls. Free time and night at the Nuts Huts hotel.
Day 9: Chocolate Hills, Butterfly Garden, Tarsiers. Transfer to your own hotel's choice in Bohol or Panglao island. OR one more night at Nuts Huts and way back to Manila / Cebu on day 10.

Caramoan Peninsula is located in Bicol (280 miles south of Manila) It is reported that the Caramoan Peninsula is the Philippines‘s most well kept secret. This is true. Caramoan is not the place where you will find hordes of tourists, international restaurants, bars and five stars hotels. Caramoan is nothing about that. It is the place where many Survivors are shot. Desert white sand beaches islands, lagoons, mangrove and amazing caves…wild!

Day 1: Manila-Naga. Daytime aircon bus. After crossing almost all of the south Luzon area we reach the dynamic province town of Naga. City tour and night at CBD hotel.
Day 2: Naga-Caramoan. Early morning we leave Naga for the port of Sabang where we will take a boat to Guijalo a few miles from the small Caramoan city. Visit of the town and night on the huge Paniman beach at Breeze and Waves Cottages hotel.

On dit de la péninsule de Caramoan (Bicol au sud de Manille-450km) qu’elle est un des secrets les mieux gardés des Philippines. Caramoan n’est pas un endroit à la mode où vous croiserez des hordes de touristes, où vous trouverez restautants ou bars internationaux et autres hôtels cinq étoiles. C’est l’endroit où l’on a par exemple tourné l’édition Koh-Lanta 2008. Des îles désertes au plages de sable blanc et aux lagons intérieurs, mangrove, grottes étonnantes…sauvage !
